AkinsCrisp Internship Program:

AkinsCrisp Public Strategies offers internship programs in Oak Ridge and Nashville, TN, and Huntsville, AL for college juniors, seniors or masters students in public relations, public affairs, journalism or a related field. We're looking for motivated students with excellent writing skills, strong communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What Does AkinsCrisp Offer?

Each intern works directly with account teams on projects allowing them to acquire hands-on public relations experience in a fast-paced agency setting. Interns work on a variety of projects and are given the opportunity to improve and expand writing and communications skills and build an impressive resume and portfolio through:

• Media relations: writing news releases, helping develop pitches, assisting with media databases, updating and developing various press materials and media kits for clients, assistance with press conferences.
• Special events: help plan and execute various special events, press conferences, media tours and ribbon cuttings.
• Client management: hands-on experience in client relations, relationship building and client service.
